Waiver Suite
Digital Waiver Suite for Attractions
A waiver suite is a comprehensive set of tools for creating, collecting, managing, and operationalizing digital waivers across the full guest journey. Beyond basic signature capture, a modern waiver suite should support flexible workflows that reduce check-in friction while maintaining compliance.
A complete waiver suite allows waivers to be completed ahead of arrival with automated reminders, on-site via kiosks, or through touchless options such as QR codes, all accessible from any device. It should support both individual and group workflows, including group portals that allow a designated leader to manage waiver completion for large parties, and real-time visibility into who has and has not completed required waivers at check-in.
Waiver workflows should adapt to how different operations run. This includes triggering waivers from a booking or purchase and generating a unique shareable link that automatically associates each participant’s waiver to the correct reservation. Other models include generic waiver links that can be associated at check-in, waivers tied to memberships, and activity- or rental-specific liability waivers. A robust waiver suite also supports keeping waivers on file and setting validity periods based on operational or legal requirements.
Effective waiver management extends beyond storage. Waiver data should be usable in compliant, automated workflows—such as sending post-experience review requests to adult participants—and fully exportable for marketing, reporting, and integrations. This ensures operators can build a complete customer dataset that includes all participants, not just the individual who made the booking.
Handling minors is a critical differentiator. A modern waiver suite should allow guardians to add children within a single signing flow and execute one signature that generates the appropriate releases for both adults and minors, avoiding redundant data entry and fragmented records.
All waiver configuration and usage should be guided by an operator’s legal and insurance counsel to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
