Zone-Based Pricing

Zone-based pricing charges different rates depending on which physical area, section, or zone of an attraction a guest is booking, such as premium seating, VIP zones, or specific ride sections.

A haunted attraction charging more for a "skip the line" express zone, or a boat tour charging a premium for upper-deck seating, is applying zone-based pricing. It lets operators monetize the parts of their venue guests value most without changing the base admission price for everyone.

This works especially well for attractions with a clear premium experience built into their physical layout, letting operators capture more revenue from guests who want it while keeping a lower-priced standard option available.
