Vendor Payout
Vendor Payout: Glossary Term & Definition
Vendor payout is the process of paying an outside party, an affiliate, a booking partner, a contracted guide, or a rental supplier, their share of revenue from a booking made through an operator's platform.
Many attractions rely on affiliates, resellers, or subcontracted vendors (a partner guide company, a shuttle service, a photo vendor) and owe them a cut of each relevant booking. Manual payout tracking in spreadsheets is slow and error-prone, especially as volume grows.
Software that automatically calculates vendor splits based on booking data and generates payout reports removes a recurring administrative burden and reduces disputes, since both sides can see the same transaction-level detail.
